Students must wear:

A black blazer with patch pockets and the College badge (the
badge is already embroidered on the blazer when bought from T.P. Sports in
Northallerton) A separate badge can be purchased from T.P. Sports for £3.50
if you decide to purchase a blazer from another retailer or if you already
have a black blazer.
· The
College sweatshirt (optional) to be worn underneath the blazer. (available
from T.P. Sports)
· The
College Year 10 & 11 tie - clip on (available from college).
·
Formal white shirt
(worn tucked
in) or fitted blouse with neck button fastening for the College tie.
· Black trousers/skirt (plain,
classic and of conventional length - no jean material).
· Black/white socks or black/skin
coloured tights
·
Black shoes
(no trainers/skater shoes or boots).
· No jewellery, except watch and
one small sleepers/studs in ears. No nose or other facial
piercings.
·
Discreet make-up
· Hair
must be of one natural colour and extreme hairstyles are not allowed.
· Caps
are not allowed at all as part of the uniform (standard wool hats used
to keep warm to be worn outside only)
·
College has the right to respond to current styles of fashion
in order to maintain consistency and standards of uniform.
·
Outdoor Jackets must be standard type - No hoodies, cardigans, pullovers
or sweatshirts other than the optional college sweatshirt available from T.P.
Sports, which must be worn underneath the college blazer.

PHYSICAL EDUCATION

Northallerton College has a specific kit policy for students taking part in
PE lessons. This is to ensure students are suitably prepared for lessons,
take part in physical activities safely and look smart. Details below
