In September 2009, Northallerton College formed a hard federation with Risedale Sports and Community College resulting in one governing body serving both colleges. 

These pages provide information about the composition and work of the Governing Body.  They are also for use by new or prospective governors as part of the induction process.  Further information about the Governing Body can be obtained by clicking on the links provided or by contacting Louise Bramley, Clerk to the Governing Body, at the College.

Governing Body Meetings

The Full Governing Body meets 4 times per academic year.

There are also 4 main sub committees which deal with specific aspects of the work of both Colleges which meet on a regular basis:

Resources Committee for Northallerton College – dealing with Facilities / Health and Safety, Finance and Personnel

Resources Committee for Risedale Sports and Community College - dealing with Facilities / Health and Safety, Finance and Personnel

Improvement Committee for Northallerton College – this will focus on outcomes – monitoring improvement planning results etc.

Improvement Committee for Risedale Sports and Community College - this will focus on outcomes – monitoring improvement planning results etc.

As well as these 4 main committees there are also the following committees which meet on an ad hoc basis as and when required:
