Outdoor Facilities

The College is well situated in the centre of the town, close to all local amenities and transport routes. Easy access is key.

Our site is attractive and extensive with over 30 hectares of outdoor facility green space for sport and recreation - used regularly for football, rugby, cricket and hockey, as well as track and field events such as on our annual Sports Day. The grassed areas are also great for picnics, Frisbees or just chilling. You can also eat outside in picnic areas situated in the Upper and Lower Quads - the former providing shade under a 100 year-old willow tree!

Additionally, there are 3 tennis courts and 3 basketball/netball courts.
(Remember, the Sports Hall, Gym and Fitness Suite also provide comprehensive indoor sporting and fitness facilities which are second to none and certainly amongst the best in the area.) We take sustainability seriously and have developed our own recycling processes and garden allotment which regularly provides fresh fruit and vegetables in season.
