Latest Student Survey
A copy of the
Annual Student Survey carried out in Autumn 2006 is
available for reference from Library Resources.
What is it?
Each year the
College engages an independent company to carry out a survey of students’
perceptions of the work of the College. Over 350 students completed
questionnaires which were then analysed and used to produce this report.
What’s it for?
It’s another way
of finding out how you think the College is doing in providing for your
education. There is also an annual parents’ survey.
What happens as a result?
This year’s survey
suggests that students are least happy with the tutorial programme, and with
our attempts to help you lead a healthy lifestyle.
Mr Merifield is to
chair a working group to have a look at what can be done to improve the
tutorial programme. We need students to volunteer to join this group. Please
see Mr Merifield if you wish to volunteer.
Also, the
governors have agreed an investment of up to £60,000 to develop a
state-of-the-art fitness suite. Again, students are invited to join a group of
governors and staff to work on this proposal. Please contact Mr Best via
Reception if you are interested.
